Vizio LCD Televisions

VIZIO enthusiasts asked us for something extreme - borderline "overboard" - in the high definition television space. They challenged us to design and deliver on the premises of high performance and quality yet hold true to the VIZIO mission statement of "Where Vision Meets Value". They desired products which could compete with the highest-end technology on the market. Hence, we built the Extreme VIZIO Technology (XVT) series of televisions.

THE XVT SERIES - LCD and PLASMA

Consisting of both LCD and Plasma Full High Definition televisions, currently three products are available within the new XVT line. The biggest and boldest of the series is the VP505XVT. This 50" Full High Definition 1080p Plasma display panel allows you to enjoy more than 1 Billion true-to-life colors. Add in new Silicon Optics HQV (Hollywood Quality Video) processing for optimal picture quality and advanced noise reduction, and you will impress even the best of Hollywood producers. Wishing for the best in high quality sound performance? We've incorporated SRS Labs' latest SRS TruSurround HD™ sound performance for the ultimate audio experience.
 
BENEFITS OF 120Hz

Also within the XVT line of products are the SV420 and SV470 - 42" and 47" Full High Definition LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) flat panel televisions, respectively. What makes these televisions so great and worthy to be called XVT is the 120Hz refresh rate. While traditional High Definition televisions refresh at a rate of 60Hz (60 cycles per second), the SV420 and SV470 refresh at 120Hz, twice the rate of most technologies available on the market today! This is important because a 120Hz refresh rate allows for smoother motion during fast action scenes, thus creating an unbelievable sense of realism. A 120Hz refresh rate is the latest and greatest technology available on the market today, so naturally VIZIO incorporated it in its best product line.
